It is the mission of the Malvern Fire Department to protect the public safety from the effects of fire and other emergencies.
It is the goal of the Malvern Fire Department to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Malvern from the effects of fire and other emergencies. This will be accomplished through Public Fire Education and Fire Prevention Programs, emergency response planning and training, and coordinating our efforts with the Building and Code Enforcement Office to ensure compliance with all applicable Fire and Life Safety Codes. The Malvern Fire Department has a proud history of service to the citizens of Malvern and it is our pledge to continue our commitment of service to the public. In the year 2000 the City of Malvern Fire Department received an Insurance Standards Office (ISO) rating of Class 3, which reflects the commitment of the City, and the cooperative efforts of all concerned departments, to provide a high level of public fire protection to the citizens of Malvern. Our goal is to continue to strive to lower our ISO rating to a class 2 and provide a higher level of service to the public.
Our service include: Fire prevention, fire suppression, hazardous materials response, medical first responder, technical rescue and extrication, and swift water rescue.

When fire strikes, lives are suddenly turned around. Often, the hardest part is knowing where to begin and who to contact.
