The City of Malvern is organized under the Mayor-Council form of
government. An eight-member City Council elected by wards, sits as the
legislative governing body. The Mayor, elected at-large, serves as the
City's Chief Elected Officer and oversees the day-to-day administrative
activities of the City and aids the City Council in formulating sound
municipal policies. Among the functions of the Mayor is the
responsibility for overseeing the City's personnel policies and
procedures.
