FREE SMOKE DETECTORS FOR MALVERN RESIDENTS
This is a program offered by the Malvern Fire Department and is designed to put smoke detectors in the homes of
current City of Malvern Arkansas residents that do not have smoke
detectors installed or have non-working smoke detectors. Simply fill out
the request form and the Malvern Fire Department will call and setup an
appointment to come by and install new smoke detectors or repair/replace
non-working ones.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Malvern Fire
Department to protect the public safety from the effects of fire and
other emergencies.
Goals
It is the goal of the Malvern Fire
Department to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Malvern
from the effects of fire and other emergencies. This will be
accomplished through Public Fire Education and Fire Prevention Programs,
emergency response planning and training, and coordinating our efforts
with the Building and Code Enforcement Office to ensure compliance with
all applicable Fire and Life Safety Codes.
The Malvern Fire Department has a proud history of service to the
citizens of Malvern and it is our pledge to continue our commitment of
service to the public.
In the year 2000 the City of Malvern Fire Department received an
Insurance Standards Office (ISO) rating of Class 3, which reflects the
commitment of the City, and the cooperative efforts of all concerned
departments, to provide a high level of public fire protection to the
citizens of Malvern. Our goal is to continue to strive to lower our ISO
rating to a class 2 and provide a higher level of service to the public.
Services
Our service include: Fire prevention, fire suppression, hazardous
materials response, medical first responder, technical rescue and
extrication, and swift water rescue.
